COVID-19: PANDEMIC OR OPPURTUNITY, REBOOT YOUR MINDSET

Categories: Asma Raza

The World Health Organization (WHO) officially announced on March 11, 2020 that coronavirus disease (COVID-19) had reached a pandemic state, meaning that “new diseases are emerging in the world.” Privacy is a disease, but the planet has also radically changed in everyone’s professional life, the virus has deprived us of strength: we had to change our lifestyle, adapt to new standards and continue productive work from home and learn to work together to give birth. Routine, companies, countries and the global economy have collapsed, and when everything ends, uncertainty flows. Exactly what happened to the Corona virus, COVID 19, has spread all over the world, and this extremely powerful virus has caused losses worldwide.

After a few months, the blockades will gradually end and companies will start working. Social distance, work from home, flexible work are not just readable: a dark reality awaits us. And practice them. But as they say in the world of entertainment, the show has to go on. If you need to take advantage of this opportunity, work hard, and get results, you need to do it. In this scenario, following the work plan, running smoothly, and coordinating the workflow becomes a completely different game. Professionals around the world are accepting new jobs.

They said, “A successful man is someone who can lay a solid brick foundation thrown into his life.” COVID-19 has thrown many stones at us in recent months. Our lives have been embarrassed, standards have been broken and procedures have been rejected. After all the attacks that have been carried out on us, it is time to change our attitude and vision from the victims to the possibilities. It is time to investigate any problems and, instead of retreating, we should look for opportunities.

Among the terrifying reports of illness, stress, loss and recession is the reality that people are looking for hope and workers for the control and strength of their leaders. The management cannot afford to suffer and avoid inconvenience in the media. As always, now you have to believe in your goals and have the courage to follow your destiny!

A positive and determined approach and a change of perspective require courage and strong leadership. It is much easier to fall and surrender than to have the courage and fight! As an entrepreneur, your leadership and entrepreneurial skills are surely being tested to an unprecedented level. This can be a blessing in disguise because history teaches us that great leaders are born from almost impossible situations. Ironically, this crisis may be an opportunity for you, as an entrepreneur, to take your leadership skills to a new level. As they say, “the real test of leadership is how it works in times of crisis.”

It all depends on the type of leader who is in crisis. Is it working correctly in the current crisis that has affected our world? Are you the type of leader you would see in these trial periods? It is important to passionately believe what you are doing and what you consider yours; nothing is more inspiring than someone important. A leader who leads with strength, dignity, and moral conviction to achieve his divine goal on earth. And as the late Dr. Myles Munroe said, “Leadership is the ability to influence others through inspiration, driven by passion, generated by vision, generated by faith, by purpose.”

Interestingly, the Chinese word for “crisis” consists of two characters: one is danger, the other is coincidence. And here’s a look at: What are the options between the turbulence, confusion, and recession caused by COVID-19? How can you or your company act effectively or even change direction during an economic crisis? As an entrepreneur, manager and responsible citizen, I think it’s time to walk the path of memory and remember the first few working days. Think about it and remember why we really do business. Why did we start this company long ago? We started all our activities for one reason, we all had a clear goal. But here’s the key question: did you put your goal or your original business model in the middle of the crisis? At this point, you need to motivate yourself not to give up and give up, but to defend your case and work tirelessly!

Think twice, review the original purpose of the activity, and let that goal strengthen your determination. Once you decide on your beliefs, this is reflected in your actions and routine. Your colleagues take the initiative and let force inspire you instead of being afraid of the future. Never stop dreaming, no matter how dark they are!

There is no greater advocate of persistence than Steve Jobs. He was convinced that perseverance is a factor that distinguishes successful entrepreneurs from successful ones. Remember that perseverance is a result you cannot force. This result is due to strong faith in achieving the goal.

And not only does the target not help control the ship safely during a storm. The situation requires an action plan to support the business objective. The business world is heading into the unknown. We do not know how the Covid 19 crisis will change our market and our industries. Since this does not change, it is wiser to spend time reviewing our strategy and adapting our business model to life after foreclosure.
