There are many situations in which you need to quickly read or skip the application form, because reading some private material requires a short period of study. The simplest idea that comes to my mind is to go through each patent one by one, but it can be time consuming and intimidating.
Here are the procedures that can be used in these cases to quickly read personal data. However, it doesn’t show you how to read a patent in 1 minute, it can teach you how to review a patent quickly and efficiently.
Suppose you need to review several patents. Divide the process into 3 levels below:
Phase 1 review: Fines on all patents to select related patents.
Phase 2 review: A little further down the list of patents to select the most appropriate but different patents.
Phase 3 Review: Review associated patents to understand and interpret their terms.
Let’s take a closer look at three levels:
Level 1 – Rating:
Step 1: Read the summary.
Step 2: Go through the last paragraphs / sentences of the material section to understand the problem that the patent is trying to solve.
Step 3: Read the summary section and one or two separate statements to understand the solution to this problem.
Step 4: Examine existing flowcharts or functional diagrams to get a detailed understanding of the solution and correct it with individual complaints and drawings.
The 4 steps above will give you a general idea of what a patent is and what it is trying to solve. This will help you decide whether to delete it or go for further investigation.
By the way, I found that the layout of a patent article optimizes Google’s patents for the previous review.
Level 2 – Examine:
You have already selected interesting Level 1 patents for further investigation. Go through the patents one by one, but not too detailed (this will save you time). Step 1 can be repeated for each patent version, but include more details in this review. You can also look at the pictures that mention the phrase you all want to see.
You can also do a detailed examination at this point. However, it can take a while if you have a lot of patents to read. So even at this stage, try to remove some patents to choose only the most suitable for more detailed study.
Level 3 – Review:
If you don’t have a clear idea about a patent, you can follow the steps above to read the selected parts of the definition or the full definition section. Since most of the patents have already been withdrawn, it is possible to examine the few remaining patents in detail and to interpret the requirements and various regulations with particular attention to detail. After saving time by avoiding the review of irrelevant patents, you can use it for a detailed review of the remaining patents and draw conclusions.
